Kigali Day 1: jet lag

Arriving finally  at 7:pm after a 20 hours journey … the time spent in Brussels gave us the opportunity to relax, walk, have coffee and guess what we forgot to have Belgian waffles arghhhh !!! anyway we have our chances on our way back.. It is dark by now in Kigali, but you can feel the city.. hot, humid, alive. plenty of cars and motorcycles which are taxis,  you can believe I am getting in one of those….I do not think we had dinner.. we just crashed.. Today.. it is Sunday, we are feeling better.. We went ahead  walk around the neighborhood and visited the local market.. a very interesting one..did some cooking [see pictures] as you can see I put Albert to task [haha]..in the PM we got showered by a storm.. we thought it would be OK to go out.. think again… we are not all that far from the equator…Alright.. enough for today, tomorrow will be our visit to CHUK ( Centre Hospitalo-Universitaire de Kigali) Alias Siachaka…….DSC_0090_2DSC_0093_2

Hi Mo and Albert – Glad you guys made it over safely. The apartment picture brings back good memories. Is the “Kristi & Marcel Memorial Hotplate” still there? Have fun!
